Anything with the Google name in it is an optimization monster. But wait a second, what is Google Video? Well, here is a direct quote from the site, “…Online video marketplace, where you can search for, watch and even buy an ever growing collection of TV shows, movies, music videos, documentaries, personal productions and more…
Here’s an alphabet of reasons Video Optimize utilizes Google Video:
A. Viewing Video Content – Staying current with the trends and competitors of the most evolving section of the internet landscape: video.
B. Search – It’s just like a typical search engine, but the listings are video. Why is that relevant? Because 97% of America is as lazy as I am. We like to kick our feet up on the table, relax, and learn from visuals.
C. Video downloads – At a whim I can enjoy a video download on any subject. I remember the first time I saw the lions fighting it out, and I thought, “Wow is this incredible!”

D. Allow the Google Giant to work for you- By placing your video on Google, your video blasts across search pages all across the World Wide Web. Just supply the proper keywords, Google does the rest!
E. Hosting – Google will host your videos, and convert them into FLV files. And by the way, they have more space in one fingernail than King Kong’s entire hand.
F. Support Forums – Having trouble getting the video up? Google has it’s massive help library, and a team of Ivy League techies standing by for queries in its support forums. While I used to type my question into Google, I now pull up Google Video or Youtube, and watch my answer… much easier!
G. Targeting – Especially now that Google’s Universal Search initiative has begun to further straighten the world wide web, Video Optimize harnesses video.google.com to target very specific local niche markets with outstanding results. For example, a mortgage niche topic could be a small city in Orange county focusing on super jumbo loans. This would be very easy to dominate.
H. Parlaying fruitful finds – Normally when interesting or dull content is found, more of the same follows. Let’s say I was researching frogs, and I found a site that had an especially well done frog video. I could then go to Google Video and type in the site name, and peruse all that site’s videos.
I. Google Video Store – Google has a massive video store where you can buy videos for use. Talk about a powerful medium.
J. Hot Videos – Google has a section, as does Youtube, where you can watch the most viewed and popular videos. Once you can achieve “popular” status with a video, it can go viral extremely fast. This is because there is a nice little “send a link” icon on the video, as well as a play button, so that the video can be pasted to any website. Video Optimize makes it a priority to create videos funny, interesting, and instructive, as these qualities generate the best viral propagation.
